"Beautiful historic facility, truly fantastic fitness facilities and services, and kind, professional staff. The rooms have a bit of deferred maintenance (peeling paint/wallpaper, some dirty carpets in common areas), but are comfortable and nicely appointed in general. The A/C unit was not working in the first room I was assigned, but the staff rectified the situation to the best of their ability, and made sure that the rest of my stay would be comfortable."

"We just needed a quiet room to sleep overnight. It was perfect for our needs. The night staff and day staff were professional and very nice to our family. We felt safe and slept well."

"Unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again. The entire place is a bit dingy and odors linger, the bathroom/bedroom layout is awkward and made opening and storing suitcases difficult, and the breakfast was mediocre and always closed early. The location was convenient for getting in/out San Francisco and we appreciated the number of close restaurants and shopping. "

"To start off the hotel was good, but I was devastated by a situation that occurred where I was locked out of my room for some odd reason and if the staff in front was not available,(mind you this was after I had came back after a night out where I went to a concert. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 AM) I would’ve been outside of my room for the whole night until God knows when and what was more mortifying is that there was people who were watching and seeing everything happen and there was drunk people coming in as well so my safety was on the line not only that, but to top it off, my stuff including my passport and my credit cards were all inside in the room, which I had no access to. I am so grateful for the lady in the front who went above and beyond to help solve this issue. Meanwhile, I waited almost 3 hours outside of the room which was unnecessary but all in all the hotel is nice but the staff needs to do a better job at registering and making sure this doesn’t happen to anybody else in the future"

"Parking situation is clunky, as customers have to search for on street parking in a busy urban neighborhood. not ideal but once you find it, property is well kept, staff is always great. it's our 4th stay and we'll keep coming back. not holding parking against them. one small suggestion would also be to check the water pressure, if conservation were in mind, we get it but to a trickle was a tad over reaching. Otherwise, see you next time Sens!"
