"I cannot praise the Borgo Grondaie enough. The staff were excellent, couldn't be more personable and helpful. The place was quiet and restful. The pool was excellent. This is just the place to stay for a restful stay in Siena. Siena centre is a short walk away using the escalators nearby. The gardens are beautiful and well kept."

But travelers need to be aware that accessing this residence in your own car is not possible. But you can park in a covered garage in town and a valet will take you right to the front door and pick you up when you are ready to leave. Well worth the 35 euro for the service! Great staff, Sara and Adele were very welcoming and super helpful. No elevators and a steep stairwell (fine for us but just be prepared to climb stairs). Would definitely stay again. "

"Wonderful stay in a wonderful place. The views from the terrace (where breakfast is served weather permitting) and the executive rooms on to the cathedral are spectacular. All the staff is super friendly and keen to help. The hotel or relais is beautifully decorated and everything is spotlessly clean. That is also true for the rooms which all have antique furniture. "A estadia é bem localizada, tem restaurantes pertos, quarto aconchegante. A única desvantagem é que não tem estacionamento, fomos de carro pq a informação era que tinha estacionamento, e na verdade você precisa achar uma vaga na rua. E a questão de segurança também nos deixou desconfortável, devido que portão e porta de acesso a acomodação não tem chave, fica aberto, apenas a chave do quarto."
