"Very clean and large by Japan standards. We feel the room was as big or bigger than American rooms. Staff was courteous and polite. "Travelled with my wife for the first time to Japan; for the price, we were impressed. Room felt a little crammed at times but was manageable. Staff was extremely friendly and ensured we were comfortable. Room had air conditioning and the bed/pillows were more comfortable than my own. Close to Kyoto Station which saved us time and energy which you would need to travel any places you planned to visit/hike. Would stay here again."
