"Welcoming and informative check-in. Guests have use of a separate lounge & kitchen with honesty bar. We used the map provided to enjoy a walk around the area. Room was a good size with big, comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. Great meal but it was very quiet so lacked a bit of atmosphere. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful with excellent produce. Would return if staying in the area again. Thank you."

"Arrived late after a long motorcycle ride. Kitchen had closed but Emma arranged for a meal for us regardless. Emma and Adam have only had this place since beginning of year but have plans for some renovation. There welcome, service and food were superb, especially the fab breakfast. "We were staying here because our bathroom is being renovated and will definitely stay again. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a brilliant shower that I did not have to faff around with adjusting, just turned on and it was the perfect temperature. The underfloor heating makes the room very warm although one can open the windows. In kinder weather, there are chairs outside each of the rooms to sit on and enjoy a drink or smoke, and the pub...
