It appears close to the centre if Ubud on a map, but be prepared to sit in a taxi for 30plus minutes to get to and from town centre if wanting choice of restaurants etc. due to serious traffic issues in Ubud. We booked one room and one villa. Please note: THE HOTEL HAS NO OPEN FACILITIES AS STATED ON THE HOTEL DESCRIPTION ie no food available outside of the pre-ordered breakfast (toast turned up cold), no gym, no bars, no availability of food/drink on the premises, no spa, and laundry seemed expensive for the area. They had a pool, but no-one seemed to be in it. Basically the hotel lacked atmosphere. The villa we got allocated (‘Draupadi’) was really nice with a lovely pool outside- top floor (no lifts) so many steps. The villa area had an entrance which was lockable with a sliding bolt on the inside but when you leave to go out, there was no way of locking it. We got moved to another villa the next day, and the bathroom and security issues were resolved, but we had no running hot water and had a worm infestation that night-we hardly slept and left to go to another hotel the next day. The limited staff they had were helpful and friendly, but if they were serving other people I had found myself waiting around for the one member of staff to help. The hotel is off the main road and has beautiful architecture and decor within the hotel itself, but that alone is no good for a hotel. They should make it clear that they are not fully up and running cuurently, but has good potential.
