Thanks for your review! Yes, we are definitely not close to town and the road to our place is just a dirt road. It's great if you want a real jungle experience. Like many places in Bali, the local taxi rules force us to use only the local village taxi service. It's really frustrating, that's for sure! Fortunately, we are only 15 minutes from town and it's just a few minutes on the unpaved road to get to and from our place. We do serve homemade meals on the property if you'd like to relax here and it's a lovely walk through the rice fields in the morning or the evening when it's not so hot. We are happy to have met you and hope all of your travels are fantastic!

It's extremely frustrating when you pay a certain price and find out that you could have gotten a better price somewhere else. It happens a lot here in Bali. Our business is in providing an excellent accommodation for our guests with regard to a beautiful and comfortable place to stay and eat. We also want to help our guests have the best experience possible off our property. Although we strive to recommend the best tours and transport for our guests when they leave our villas, we do not know every tour operator or driver who is available. We use the operators who promise us the best service. I'm so sorry that the tour operator who we recommended charged more and didn't deliver the service and trip you were looking forward to. It is never our intention to recommend tour operators who overcharge our guests, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will for sure take a look into recommending some tour operators that will be a better value, like KLOOK or your friend who is a tour guide. It's always good to shop around as the quality and prices of tours on this island can differ. There are so many! Because of your feedback, we will not be using this tour operator in the future.
