"It's cheap and cheerful. Very cheap for this part of London. A couple of minutes walk from the tube station and 10 mins or so walk to Royal Albert Hall. It's a bit shabby in communal areas and room was tired, but standard double room was reasonable size and bed was comfy, bathroom was pretty new and wouldn't have been out of place in a more upmarket hotel. All spotlessly clean as well. All staff friendly and helpful and a basic but perfectly good continental breakfast was a bonus."

"The location is great with many bus and subway transportation options. The female staff that checked me in was so unfriendly to the point that it made me hesitate to go down to the pub for drinks. I did end up visiting the pub a few times and the other staff were fine. Expedia listed optional English breakfast for £9.9 but it was £11. The room was very crammed but fine for the price. The bed seemed clean but I got bug bites on my legs. I really hope they aren’t bedbug bites… There is only one...

"I can’t complain because it was only £15 for the night with free shower access and a bed to stay in central London I just can’t give it five stars because I didn’t actually sleep properly due to the noise from the other people, a loud AC unit above me and the noise from the bar downstairs until 1AM.
