Budget Hostels from RM94

"Awesome staff and location for a more localized experience walking distance to the center of town. Plenty of restaurants within the vicinity. Excursions and bikes available for purchase/rent. Bar and restaurant located here with pool. Bartenders were great - all 3 that I met - Jorge, Brian and another I can’t remember his name."

"Tubo Hostels is a fun and great place to stay. The staff there is very helpful and fun to talk to. They had bikes to rent out also."

"Terrible staff and living condition."

"This is one of the worst place I ever stayed and they spoiled my entire trip. Just avoid and safe yourself the stress "

"For the price, Colorbox is a good option to stay close to Tulum (the hotel is located15 km north of the city), the Maya ruins of Coba, and various beaches. It's clean and no frills (no closet or dresser, or even a single hook). You get a clean and comfortable bed and a good shower with hot water. While close to the highway (and you hear it), the property itself is quiet and appeared safe. Note that there are no lock boxes in the rooms and we opted to have valuables with us at all times. "Excelente lugar y atención "

"Atención y limpieza "

"NOT AS ADVERTISED. I arrived and was told I couldn't check in despite calling ahead that I would be a bit late. When I was finally given a bed the room was dirty, the bathroom moldy, and the sheets had a very strong smell that made me itchy. The room had no running AC, only a fan that was as loud as a helicopter. The room was significantly hotter than the temperature outside by morning. The central pool was under construction so only a small part of the courtyard by the bar was accessible. When...

"Overall poor hygiene. Breakfast was included but didn’t look appetising and flies buzzing round the fruit, hot cakes were cold and not covered up. The ‘cook’ wasn’t trained. our private room was basic- nowhere to put stuff except on floor, nowhere to hang towel in bathroom. Friend in dorm had bed bugs."

"Geschmackvolle Einrichtung (zumindest für junge Leute), sehr zentral gelegen. Familiäre Atmosphäre, gutes Frühstück, saubere Duschen und gut ausgestattete Küche. Für diese Preislage ein Geheimtipp - ich freu mich schon auf nächstes Mal."

"Es un lugar muy tranquilo, limpio y seguro, incluyen desayuno en algunas tarifas y tienen renta de bicicletas o motonetas, en general excelente hospedaje."
