"Easy walk down from the train station. Very friendly staff, good daily cleaning of the room. Large room and decently sized bathroom. Small fridge in the room that had some cold drinks in them waiting for you. I had a second floor looking down into an excellent restaurant below in the alley. I ate their twice and probably best meals I had in Tropea. I decided to stay an extra few days and they were very willing to accommodate me. Would stay here again. "

"The Lorylu was outstanding. The property was nice but the people surpassed that. Every day started fantastic regardless of your mood at breakfast because Esther was always in a great mood and full of energy which was infectious. Tiziana was special she looked after us like we were family and bailed us out when we desperately needed transport when we didn’t know we needed it. The room was ultra clean and spacious with everything we needed. I would go back there without hesitation."

I had a different delicious breakfast prepared every morning and brought to me on my patio. Alessandro regularly checked in on me, gave me advice on places to go and eat to help plan my itinerary for my trip. The area is beautiful - it’s a 10 minute walk to Michelino beach and a 30 minute walk to tropea - which are both voted the most...
