Lucy from main reception was fantastic from check in to check out she is a huge asset to the team very helpful. The hotel location is very good close.to all restaurants and main square. The rooms are cosy and clean very well heated. Breakfast was plenty of choice and again well stocked and always clean. I would reccomend Skansen hotel 100% and would stay again. "

"Great value hotel with an amazing breakfast. The breakfast spread is excellent, with a huge choice of both hot and cold options ,fruit, yoghurt, and plenty more. The rooms are perfectly adequate, and the heated bathroom floor is a brilliant touch, especially for drying clothes. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The location works well: it’s about 10 minutes from town by bus, and the Svipper app makes getting around easy. There’s also a handy 7-Eleven on site. Don’t let the fact that it’s located at the hospital put you off ,if you go in with modest expectations, you’ll get more than you expect. Can’t fault it for the price."

"Lovely hotel. As it's not huge, it had a lovely, cosy atmosphere. Staff were all great. Very helpful and efficient. We loved the breakfast, with good choice of hot and cold items. The afternoon "Fika" was great and the lovely evening meal was a real bonus. The room was very nice. We overlooked the waterfront, which was fabulous. The only slight downside was absence of storage space. A very small recess in the wall, just inside the door, with 4 coathangers and no drawers whatsoever. Having said that, it didn't detract from a very enjoyable stay and we would stay again if we go back to Tromso "
