But then was told by reception staff that, because I booked through Expedia, I was not entitled to a water bowl or bed for them - which I would have been had I booked direct. Madness. Also not impressed with car parking - run by an ANPR company with hefty fines, even for hotel residents."

Would have been nice touch to have had complimentary biscuits with our tea and coffee supply in our room like other hotel chains but apart from that we had a wonderful stay and will return."
