"This was true old florida! What a remarkable stay with a treasureful of sweet surprises in how attentive and calming this resort is. I am so pleased that I have found this wonderful hide-a-way and will absolutely return. It is not your usual place but if you value authenticity and charm then this would be the place for you. "We think we left something in the room and I’ve called all day to talk to someone and they never answered and no answering machine. There was evidently a leak in the bathroom as the floor grout stayed wet. Don’t think the room was worth what we paid. TV channels were nil to none."

"This place is such a gem . The staff were amazing and friendly. Marie at the front desk was such a sweet lady. Enjoyed conversations with her while getting my coffee each morning. Cleanliness 10/10. The whole property from the room, pool, restaurant were all really nice and clean. Perfect location .. directly on the beach."

"It’s a very old hotel, there were no blankets available, TV had very few channels, the volume didn’t work and the outlet behind the TV looked unsafe and could start a fire! The carpet had a tear in it, the lock on the glass door was loose and it also had a bar to secure the door. Parking was very limited and tight. Would not recommend staying there and we won’t be back!"

"The check in was easy and the staff was very pleasant and professional. The room was very worn and in need of updating. The entire space was not very nice nor did it feel clean. I walked around in the room and my white socks were filthy. I felt the need to wear shoes for the remainder of my stay. People were constantly smoking cigarettes and Marijuana outside of my room subjecting me to the strong smell of it in my room. If you can afford to stay somewhere else I would do so. I wouldn't...
