Whispering Sands Motel

"Currently, there are only three options to stay overnight Hanksville. This was the least expensive. It is a no frills hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel had a good selection of TV channels to watch. The Internet speed was excellent. There is no pool, spa or weight room. They do provide breakfast but it is limited. There are a couple of quibbles. First, there are no USB ports to charge your device. Moreover, there was only one electrical outlet. Second, the bed is on a rail frame and not on the box frame as in other hotels. My toes found the metal feet often. Ouch. The hotel is not the best looking hotel. However, I would most likely stay there again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Torrey Motel. The location is very convenient — just a few minutes from Capitol Reef National Park and close to several shops and restaurants where you can get breakfast or dinner.
The room was clean, well arranged, and fairly spacious. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was. The view of the surrounding area is nice. Even though the motel is located along the main road, it was quiet at night.
The price is very reasonable for what you get. Check-in and check-out were also extremely easy since you receive a door code, so you can arrive at any time, even in the middle of the night.
Overall, a great place to stay when visiting Capitol Reef."
