"Room was clean and comfortable. Check in was smooth. The dryer didn't work very well. We did reserve for 6 days, for the price of the room you would think you would get 1 cleaning day. I missed the note that there is a cleaning fee of $50. We had to bring dirty towels to front desk and get clean towels, toilet paper and other supplies. But other than that the surroundings are quiet, easy access to public transportation and lots of good restaurants nearby. Thankful there we fans in the room."

"This hotel had everything we needed for our visit. It was clean, large and had wonderful ammenities. It is right next to Edinburgh University and so convenient to everything you could ask for on your visit. It's just a few minute walk to shopping, food restaurants, museums, castles - and High Street (where all the tourists go to shop). "The location of this property was excellent. It had great accessibility to buses which could get you all around the city. The big downfall of the property was the heat in the rooms! The addition of fans would have been very helpful. Even though the windows were open and it was cool at night, it didn’t seem to cool the room very much. Pastries at breakfast weren’t always fresh so having stale pastries 4/5 days we were there was a downside. The staff was really helpful."
