"We had a quick check in the reception staff in fact all the staff from dining room staff to the cook cleaners etc were all extremely mannerly and friendly. Room was very nice and was a really comfortable temperature. Fantastic shower with hot water at all times. Tea coffee making facilities water and biscuits. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely stay again when in Edinburgh. "

"The staff was excellent! They helped w our heavy luggage and where very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was situated in a very convenient spot to go walking to nearby places. Felt safe the entire time. Only negative thing I can say is that it doesn’t have AC (we where there in early August) but it wasn’t that bad without it. "

"We were only there for one night but loved the location . There were lots of restaurants within walking distance for dinner . The hotel was clean , the staff both cordial and helpful and the breakfast was bountiful . The spaces for the breakfast and the bar were upscale and nicely decorated . I think this hotel would work for families , couples and solo travelers . I would stay here again ."
