"Our room was clean. There was a soccer match going on during the night of our first stay and it did get a bit noisy out on the street outside our room until about 1:00 AM. Other than that it was a good place to stay and within a short distance to Edinburgh castle and the Royal mile. "

"No air ventilation system. Had a temp sticker on the door which noted the room temp which read 27 degree. With no windows and no air conditioning. Tried to cancel and the property didn’t accommodate a health condition of a kid with asthma to stay in this temp condition. Not recommended! "

"Location is in a quiet neighborhood but not really close to dining or the sights around Edinburgh. We used Uber get around which work well. The room was quite small and basically opened up to the hallway to the front door. Luckily, we had the ground floor room as getting heavy luggage up the steps would have been a real issue !"

The trainees at check in are quick to tell you that if you’re booking from a 3rd party site that it’s wrong when it includes things like access to clubs/amenities/parking and it’s only another 120 GPB for this or that above what you have already paid. "The apartment we rented was recently remodeled and everything was shiny and new and very, very clean. The staff were very friendly and they were extremely accommodating (like adding a parking space last minute and personally showing the features of apartment and its appliances). The location was good for what it was, close to bus stops and not too far from the nearest Tram station at Haymarket, but I would not have wanted to wheel my suitcases that far. "Very nice place to stay! So clean, comfortable, convenient. Helpful and kind staff. The parking lot was great. If I were to give one critique it’s the lack of air conditioning- I’m sure it’s not needed often but it was really warm while we were there. Thankfully they provide fans- which was helpful."

"The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems"
