"I booked this hotel because it listed as a 3 star hotel. However it much likes a hostel rather than a three star hotel. The room is a little dirty, especially the curtain. The bathroom was shared with other guests and locate far away from the room and is small. No shampoo is available. No dryer. Taking bath is not convenient. The room is near the entry doors and breakfast room. Morning is a little noise. The TV is extremely small. The hotel is too expensive comparing what they can provide. ...

"The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems"

"Hotel was not in the type of neighborhood I expected. My room (96) on the 0 floor required me to go through two closed doors. The hall lights were motion activated and stepping into a dark, closed hall was a little unnerving. 1 front desk person was very nice, all others were pretty disinterested. Although my room was fine, I heard many other guests complain about maintenance issues.

"This was a beautiful hotel which was centrally located. The breakfast was delicious with eggs, beans, bacon, lunch meat, cheese, cereals, yogurt, and homemade bread and pastries. Plus, they had a coffee maker with espresso! We were able to walk to the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, restaurants, and shops. Plus, they had a free washer and dryer!! The kitchenette included a convection oven, a small refrigerator, and a sink. Plus, there is a Sainsbury Local grocery around the corner...
