"No air ventilation system. Had a temp sticker on the door which noted the room temp which read 27 degree. With no windows and no air conditioning. Tried to cancel and the property didn’t accommodate a health condition of a kid with asthma to stay in this temp condition. Not recommended! "

"Romm was spacious and clean. Room had a small sectional couch, table with 4 chairs.
Also a small kitchenette with plates, cutlery, glasses and dishwasher.
Breakfast was included, which consisted of coffee, juice, water, cereal, porridge, meats, cheese, yogurt, toast, spreads, eggs, sausage, bacon, beans as well as assorted crossiscants."

"The Bruntsfield has been a well established hotel for many many years in the area of Bruntsfield. The ambience, the location, the beautiful park (the Links), the comfortable room with excellent amenities .. I could go on. I rate this hotel very highly indeed. There are lots of little shops, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Princes Street is less than 10 minutes away by bus."

"The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems"

"Our room was clean. There was a soccer match going on during the night of our first stay and it did get a bit noisy out on the street outside our room until about 1:00 AM. Other than that it was a good place to stay and within a short distance to Edinburgh castle and the Royal mile. "

"Great location and lovely staff. Apartment was just the job for our Edinburgh stay. Clean and tidy enough with everything we needed. Did get very warm inside and the walls are quite thin so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll need ear plugs. Car park underground is handy and safe. Does have a lot of pigeons nesting there so if you want too avoid getting too much bird poop on your paintwork be careful where you park or take a car cover."

"The property is an old building/hotel. It is centrally located to Old Town. Very walkable.
Rooms are small. Depending on where your room is located, you will hear the garbage trucks removing trash at 6:00am. In the evening the glass recycling bin is also next to the dumpster and you will hear many glass bottles being deposited as staff members finish cleaning up.
The room we are in, has an exit sign over the only door into our room that lights up in green and is so bright the whole room is...

"Upon walking through the gate, trash was plied very high. When we got to the room the smell of cigarette smoke smacks you in the face. I immediately notified them via email with no answer. The couch was very warn out with pieces of the pleather flacking off and the chair had a hole in it and was very old and not comfortable. The bed was decent, however the pillows are very very flat. Oh and the blue door in the pictures, not your blue door. Also, there was pee in one of the walkways as well "
