This seems like quite an old property, it's best feature is the proximity to the Ueno Kesei Skyliner train station. Convenient for catching an early flight. However the walls are thin and it's as though folks in the hallway are right in your room. The doors are oddly small, narrower and lower than any I've encountered in Japan, I had to duck and weave to get myself and my not very large bag into the room.

The location is superb for the Traveller who use Keisei line but the room condition and amenities is substandard. I heard the sound of the operation of the lift almost all night.

Very friendly family. So kind to let us bring our bikes inside. Lovely room on the river. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to the castle. A great place for coffee and tea across the street. I would stay here again.
