The room was fine but dimly lit with some lights not working. The bath had a large crack in the base and required the provided mat to be placed over it. The bar staff were slow to respond to our presence and then when we had finished our drinks. The breakfast however was a different story, the staff were attentive and the food was good.

Nice grounds on a large plot. It just lacks transportation options. Only reasonable taxis work. If you can find one.

Très bel endroit offrant des chambres très propres et très confortables. Le personnel de la réception (Emilio) et au restaurant (Ray) est dévoué et très attentionné. Le cadre est magnifique et la piscine superbe. Nous avons diné au restaurant et avons apprécié autant la cuisine que le service attentionné et professionnel. Endroit à recommander à quelques minutes du site de Chichen Itza.

Disappointed with the Chichen Itza Stay
this is a high volume hotel that provides service to a large number of tourists, and as a result we felt the employees to be impersonal and too fast paced to provide good customer service. Maybe it was under staffed on the day we were there, if so not the employees fault, but managements, or maybe a lot of people had to call in sick that day. The reason we stayed at the hotel was so we could arrive at Chichen Itza at opening. We arrived at breakfast at 7 but they would not seat us till 7:15, delayed our arrival at Chichen…and waitress could manage a smile or offer a “sorry for opening late”.. Pizza dinner was not throughly baked and not what we ordered, ate it anyway. I usually don’t point out little gripes in reviews because no place is perfect but feel this hotel deserves a bad review.

Dear Madam.We are delighted to welcome our visitors and work hard for them to have a pleasant stay. Below, we will address the points according to your review:The Hotel Chichén Itzá features only 40 rooms, so It does not handle large volumes of people. It is true, the restaurant was ready to provide service a few minutes after 7 a.m., and you certainly deserved an apology for the delay. Sorry for the lack of effective communication from the waitress. Being less than 2 km away from the entrance to the archaeological site, it shouldn’t have taken long to get there. Chichén Itzá opens at 8 a.m. and remains practically empty until around 11:00 a.m., which allows morning visitors to enjoy the place almost alone for more than two and a half hours, so even despite the delay in breakfast, you were able to visit the site without the discomfort that could be caused by encountering multiple groups sightseeing the area.We are very sorry you did not express to the waiter that the pizza was not your liking. The Chef would have addressed your dissatisfaction immediately.Safe travels.

You can listen to the sound of the forest while seating in a rocking chair in a long and beautiful corridor facing a magnificent pool. You going to love the sound of many birds and admired the many green trees around the property.

Best option in Pisté, despite its failings
The location of the hotel is ideal to visit Chichen Itzá. However, no WiFi in the room, just in the lobby near the bar. The lighting in the room is poor.

This was an excellent choice for our trip to the Yucatan peninsula. It’s conveniently located and easy to get to, staff was very good. Our booking included breakfast, which was very good. We stayed 3 nights and breakfast was one of my favorite things. It’s very close to chi Chen Itza.

The hotel grounds are nice and the location is fantastic for visiting Chichén Itzá (5 min drive). The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the hotel is amazing and was some of the best we ate in our week in Mexico.

The hotel is very conveniently located for those wanting to visit Chichen Itza early morning. The staff is very friendly and breakfast spread is great. We had a good time.

Clean and relaxing stay
We had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel. We got 2 rooms for our family of four. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooms could use more light and it took about 10 minutes (or perhaps a bit longer) of the showers running before the water got hot. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was pretty good. And their breakfast was good as well. It’s very close to Chichen Itza and is close to an OXXO (a chain convenient store). All in all it was a nice stay.
