"A beautiful chalet but the bedroom bathroom was very old and needed repairs. The breakfast was very VERY basic for a B&B. Toast and cereal. The road up to the chalet was an adventure - need 4x4 in heavy snow. For the $100 price it was pretty good but wouldn’t pay more."

"This place is a hidden off season gem. Love the breakfast offerings. Love the common room with a wood burning fireplace that you can use at your leisure. We felt like we had the entire place to ourselves but also had great conversations with other guests that wanted to chat in the common/living room area. Close enough to town and far away enough to feel like you’re in the middle of the mountains. Which you kinda are!"

"Amazing location. We stayed in the main lodge, but there are separate cabins. The view of the nearby moutains is incredible. The lodge is off-grid, but they generate their own power. There is a river within walking distance. An artesian spring bubbles up from the parking area. The water in the area is blue from minerals. It's right in the heart of the Rockies near Golden, BC. It's well worth the visit. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager."
