"We stayed for two nights. Clear instructions were given with regard to parking, and how to access the room as they have no check-in. It was easy, and they even asked how we liked the temperature to be when we check in. Water, snacks, and pop were provided. It was spotless, and we really enjoyed our stay. Next time we stay in Golden, it’ll definitely be our top choice."

"Staff friendly and helpful, room was clean, enjoyed time in the whirlpool, with ample and close parking. The Kicking Horse River and River Walk was right beside the Motel with easy walking (very close by) to Pedestrian bridge, Spirit Square with a Farmer's Market, shopping, breweries and restaurants. Town is clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again :-)"

"Fantastic stay at the lodge and lantern. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is lovely and we had a great view of the river and mountains. Fire lit in the evenings. Complimentary snack bar. Free parking and they provided a gift card for a local cafe to use towards breakfast which was a nice touch."

"The lake view from our cabin was amazing, with no wifi/ cellular connection, it allowed us to fully soak in the beauty of the scenery! The 24/7 shuttle service to and from the main cabin to the overnight parking lot was helpful and support with getting luggage to and from the main cabin was beneficial given the stairs. I loved that we could get take out from the lounge and enjoy the view from our place. Having the experience to travel internationally for a similar price we paid for point cabin, typically one meal credit is included so I hope they offer that in the future. The other unfortunate thing is a front desk staff told us we couldn’t order a latte unless if we went and ordered food from the restaurant because the lounge didn’t open until 11 or later and she was not able to operate the latte machine. Fortunately, they had complimentary drip coffee in the lounge but I found it unfortunate that you had to purchase food just to get a specialty coffee like a latte (again, given the price we were paying for point cabin it’s unfortunate that you can’t just order the specialty drink alone)."

"Amazing location. We stayed in the main lodge, but there are separate cabins. The view of the nearby moutains is incredible. The lodge is off-grid, but they generate their own power. There is a river within walking distance. An artesian spring bubbles up from the parking area. The water in the area is blue from minerals. It's right in the heart of the Rockies near Golden, BC. It's well worth the visit. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager."
