"The ship is definitely older but functional. Friendly staff and helpful. Bring water as they charge for it through the cruise (all beverages are for sale). They need to improve their timetable as all boats are trying to do the same activities at the same time leading to the sites being extremely crowded (the second morning the sites were empty!). Overall worth it but if I was to go again, I would do a longer cruise or a day cruise."

"This is my third stay at the Watson premium hotel in the last 3 years. Our room has a balcony which faces the ocean is really nice. The comfy king size bed with a clean room is a big draw for us. The staffs are very welcoming and helpful. Location is good as it is close to food, coffee places and amenities. Our buffet breakfast is recommended. They offered a good variety and quality. We love to stay at the hotel every time we go to Halong bay."

"Rooms are spacious but only moderately cleaned, were still quite dusty to my standard. Bath robes have stitches and pockets are falling off. Staff can be more friendly, especially the lady with short hair at Front Desk. Some staff at breakfast were nice enough to ask before cleaning out dishes, while others didn’t. We had to stop them a few time because we didn’t even finish but they just came and took our dishes away without even asking if we were done and whether they could take it. Pool and beach are NOT close to the hotel, pick up and drop off doesn’t run very well, super inconvenient if you travel with small children. We travelled with an infant and she was getting tired while we were at the pool. Called the hotel to ask for a pick up but the Front Desk was quite unpleasant, saying there would be a 15mins wait. We can’t even walk back to the hotel because it’s very far and would take us at least an hour. Overall I would not come back"
