"The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in an historic building that has its own special charm which was maintained but comfort wasn’t sacrificed. It was in a great location - we could walk easily to many of Paris’ famous locations or catch the metro to further ones, but what we loved most about the location was walking out the front door and being in a vibrant street full of restaurants and shops keeping its charm of cobbled streets, medieval buildings and quirky...

"Our previous trip to Paris, we had stayed in the hotel across the road, so we knew the area. This hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the bathtub, which we both used every day. It's in walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. Lots of fantastic restaurants near by, our favorite this time was the Auberges Bressagne - highly recommend this place, but reservations are a must. Also, fully recommend this hotel."

"We stayed in room 10, which is the largest of the rooms - it is on the ground floor, near reception, and we were concerned that it would be noisy. It was not, and we loved the spaciousness of the room. The location of this hotel is a perfect starting point for a walking day in Paris. Reception was super friendly and helpful. Use their airport shuttle! "

"fantastic location very close to the vast underground train system and with shops and restaurants nearby. WALKING distance to the Eiffel tower and Seine river!! Excellent and highly professional staff, room was super clean and large enough for our 4 person party (all adults). Breakfast was also definitely worth the extra cost - much more options and larger portions (buffet style) than going to a street cafe."

"The hotel is in an excellent location, close to great restaurants (and a friendly Enoteca just out the front door), shopping, Notre Dame & Sainte Chapelle, Metro stops, and the fascinating Marais neighborhood. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. This was our first visit to the Marais district, and Charles V was a great, convenient spot to begin our explorations. "
