Top The SottoVico Garden Hotel Reviews

Poderi Arcangelo

10/10 Excellent

"Fantastic experience all around from the the food, the wine, THE VIEWS, and the late October weather gifted us an afternoon poolside. Our room was wonderful and passed every expectation. Five stars!"

La Cisterna

10/10 Excellent

"Cleanliness was outstanding!! Highly recommend staying there."

Hotel Sovestro

10/10 Excellent

"It was exactly what you would expect at a wine resort. Relaxing, refreshing, close to a whole bunch of wineries including the one right on property."

Villa San Filippo

10/10 Excellent

"Tout était parfait, le personnel était au devant de nos besoins et toujours disponible pour rendre notre séjour agréable! Merci"

Mormoraia

8/10 Good

"Great location close to San Gimignano for day trips Siena, volterra, etc. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Very clean and comfortable hotel, with gorgeous 360 views from rooms. Unfortunately it’s very expensive to use the amenities, so we didn’t use them. The staff are very nice and helpful. The restaurant was OK. The breakfast was good but not great (coffee was great though). We enjoyed their wine."

Fattoria Sant'Appiano

8/10 Good

"Faire votre épicerie avant d'arriver. Dégustation avec repas disponible pour le midi. Site de campagne bucolique. Vente de plusieurs produits. Orienté vers la famille."

Capanna 1826

10/10 Excellent

"Spent one quick night here, but really enjoyed our stay! the room was clean, and the property was so pretty, with stunning views over the valley. I really enjoyed the complimentary glass of wine upon checkin, and the breakfast was amazing! Of the three hotels I stayed in during my trip to Italy, the breakfast here was the best one! Meats, pastries, yogurts, juices, etc, not to mention that the breakfast room was adorable. It was a quick and beautiful 10 minute drive to San Gimignano"

Hotel Leon Bianco

8/10 Good

"This hotel was right in the main square, which was nice, and it was the only one of 5 that we stayed in on this trip that included breakfast, which was very nice, but the room felt dated. I mean, the town IS from the 13th century, so gees, what can I expect, but I expected the room to be a little nicer. I have a feeling we got a lesser room because we booked through Expedia, because I saw a few other rooms in my brother's travel group who booked directly with the hotel and theirs were much nicer. Also, do know that the walk from the P2 recommended parking to the hotel is quite an uphill, so bring small luggage!"

Podere La Quercia

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful views, friendly staff and we loved the hot tubs overlooking the vineyards!!"
