"We had a wonderful stay at this charming rural house in Mungía. Lourdes, the owner, is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the room was spacious and very comfortable, and the whole area is peaceful and relaxing—perfect for a restful getaway. I highly recommend this place 100%!"

"Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. "Beautiful hotel in the hills northeast of Bilbao. Easy to find, and as convenient as can be expected to drive in and out of the city for a few days. Unlike many places in Spain, good reliable air conditioning. Note that the “Family” room is just one room, so no privacy for anyone sleeping in either of the two beds.
