"The home is gorgeous and literally in the center of town. Easy to walk everywhere. Caroline arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station and we were met by Lucy who was wonderful. She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. "Beautiful hotel. Really a piece of art in the middle of Saint Emilion. Only complain, not a place to exercise if needed. Very tiny room with 2 machines. Beside that, device, food, etc fantastic. "

"Excellent location—easy to walk everywhere. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean with great air conditioning and a charming view. I’d definitely stay here again. The staff was so helpful even with my terrible French and their amazing English. Thank you for a great stay next time we will come for longer. Two nights was not enough."

"Christophe and Christine the property managers were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and chateaus to visit. The breakfasts each morning were incredible: fresh baked croissants and bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs made to preference. The location nestled in among the vineyards was picturesque and very quiet. The total experience far exceeded our expectations and I hope we can make a return trip."

"My husband and I had an incredible stay at Chateau De Ferrand! We stayed for only one night and the room, food, wine, and hospitality were out of this world! We wish we could have stayed longer. Balthazar and Elliot were very attentive, kind, and even gave us recommendations for the next stop on our trip. The views of the vineyards were lovely and it was quiet and serene. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it!"

But the options in Saint Emilion are great and it's a beautiful old city. Labourne is a more modern city and is wonderful on Market day. The hotel itself is wonderful and comfortable..."
