"I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!"

"I have stayed here before and I like it. The staff is always friendly. The only issue i have is that their breakfast (or menu in general) offers no options for people like me with food allergies (i.e. gluten, dairy and soy). So all I can enjoy is black coffee in the morning. And if I arrive late, again there aren't even any snacks I can eat. It's unfortunate, but so common in the industry."

"My husband and I stayed at this establishment on March 28 &29, 2026. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations and the cleanliness of the room. The hotel's location, conveniently situated off a major highway, was remarkably peaceful, with no noticeable noise from the highway. "Everything at the hotel was very good. The negative quality was an important one, though. Then I checked out of the Marriott, the Agent gave me a receipt. However, it didn't state the cost that I paid. The Agent told me to contact Expedia. When I called Expedia, I wasted plenty of time to talk with an Agent. The Agent sent be an email stating the cost "

"The hotel is mostly renovated but still undergoing some additional upgrades. They were wallpapering the hallway during our stay. The renovations are nice and the hotel is clean. The pool area is nice as well. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use a few updates such as loose toilet paper holder. It was nice having a little balcony to get some fresh air. Some of the reception staff were nice while others weren’t so friendly. The coffee was nice but breakfast was very limited....

"The suite has plenty of room with a regular sized fridge. Pool is open until 10 with stocked towels, a clean bathroom, and a shower. The breakfast was very popular and staff did a pretty good job restocking food and plates. Two waffle makers and a bit of a line at peak hours, but worth it."

"The breakfast was fresh and a normal hotel breakfast. It was always ready and filled so no worries on the food running out. The hotel is in the process of being renovated but our room was great! The only missing thing was a phone but we were close to the front desk so I didn’t mind. I hope to visit again when the bar and grill is fully open! "
