"Omni Parker House was a short walk from all of Boston’s major attractions and overall in a great location. The hotel staff was very friendly and kept that composure when they assured us that it was no big deal when we forgot our sunglasses in our car and needed the valet to go get it for us. The doorman, whose name we unfortunately did not catch, greeted us with a smile every time we walked in and out of the building. As for our room, it was clean and had a working AC unit which was crucial for us because it was very hot during our stay. Each day, the beds were nicely made and fresh towels were provided. We did not get the chance to eat at Parker’s restaurant or enjoy a drink at the bar, but we heard that both were nice and the Boston cream pies were to die for! "

"Clean, comfortable room except that the room was exceptionally hot the second night - I believe the thermostat was not working. The breakfast is cafeteria breakfast - packaged muffins/pastries and boxed OJ - not exactly what I was expecting but there are plenty of cafes around."

"The staff was nothing but helpful and kind. The overall vibe of the hotel was very nice and modern. The complimentary breakfast was fine. Unfortunately the first night of my stay they had me in a room that the door wouldn't close all the way. The lock did engage, but there was a slight gap. I was so tired from traveling that I didn't say anything because I just wanted to go to sleep and I assumed it was just due to the old hotel (as I saw some hints of damage in the bathroom/shower area). Well, I didn't get much sleep. Where my room was located was right next to a set of stairs and because of the gap in the door I could hear every single person walking up and down those stairs. So the next morning I said something to the front desk and they immediately sent someone from maintenance to my room. He found that my door frame didn't have a metal plate and that's why the door wouldn't close properly. They offered to move me to a different room right next door, but I thought that didn't make much sense. So the next night, with the door fully closed, I still couldn't sleep because all I heard was people going up and down the stairs all night. My advice is not to put people in the room right by the stairs. Overall though, the staff was nice, the hotel was beautiful, the proximity to Fenway was ideal. "

"The Collonade is my first pick of hotels in Boston. It is across the street from the Prudential Center where there are great restaurants and shopping. The area is walkable, there are several colleges nearby, Newbury street is close enough to walk to with lots of restaurants and great shops. The hotel is also close by car to various sightseeing areas. The staff is very welcoming. Norman the day Bellman is awesome, he makes the guests feel at home, he has Great Recommendations and he is very helpful at hailing a Taxi if needed. The rooms are clean with bottles of water, coffee, refrigerator and nice amenities in the bathroom. An extra bonus is a cute duck that sits on the top of the bathtub. "
