La Quinta Inn & Suites The Carolinas hotels

"This hotel is dated. Needs TLC. But the staff is nice and they try to keep up with it. Parking and drop off it’s not easy. Breakfast you have to walk a block away to separate building for free breakfast. The bar has good drinks at pool area. It’s an older hotel. Suites are not fully equipped. "

"Best hotel on the strip. Nice size rooms and clean. Beach front in walking distance to the boardwalk."

"It has the nicest pools of any place. I’ve stayed at on Hilton head. The place is always clean and the staff is more than friendly."

"The pools, ocean front and view from our balcony were beautiful. The front desk and restaurant staffs were friendly and accommodating. Our rental unit, however was outdated and dirty (hall maintenance closet full of dust). The last night of our stay we turned the tv on for the first time to find the picture scrambled, which the tech staff was unable to fix. What was upsetting is upon checkout the next morning the manager questioned me about it as if we had broken it, and also made some unprofessional comments about the technician. It put a damper on the whole stay."

"Our “resort view” room gave us a great look at the dingy rooftop Pretty disappointed in that. Otherwise the room was clean and spacious. The pool area was amazing. Lunch at the pool bar was great - dinner in the restaurant not great. Overall a good place to stay."
