"Lee- Anne, Anjuli and Nisha made the entire four day stay truly memorable. They offered incredible service and were extremely kind and helpful. We loved the location, just out of the way of Old Town but close enough to all the sights by bus (right outside the hotel). We especially enjoyed the dinner menu as it catered perfectly to vegetarians with a great selection of vegan meals as well. Our room had a lovely view and we had a wonderful experience."

"Lovely restored house in a neighborhood (more like a B&B). There is a bus that runs into Edinburgh proper or you can take the mile walk. The hotel gives very good recommendations for local dining. Parking can be difficult (limited on-street parking for non-residents). No eating in the rooms."

"Hotel was not in the type of neighborhood I expected. My room (96) on the 0 floor required me to go through two closed doors. The hall lights were motion activated and stepping into a dark, closed hall was a little unnerving. 1 front desk person was very nice, all others were pretty disinterested. Although my room was fine, I heard many other guests complain about maintenance issues. The free breakfast consisted of either croissant or chocolate roll. They said juice, but in four days I...

"Room was spotless, Staff were very friendly and helpful, a good variety at breakfast my niece enjoyed the waffles. The bar was also great. The gym is basic but managed some cardio and weights. For parking it does cost £16 a day but most hotels now charge. Park at front of hotel and speak to reception who will give a code and you will be directed to parking. Takes about 20 min to get to the shopping area or take the bus which stops more or less outside hotel. We would definitely recommend staying...
