"If you are traveling anywhere near this hotel, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the bar and restaurant were some of the best we experienced all over Italy. The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. "An absolutely great hotel - plenty of history and superb staff. The latter were incredible - all polite, confident and efficient. I needed to stow an electric bike - and the young lady at the front desk personally took me around to where I could leave it securely (she'd only been at the hotel for a short while, but you wouldn't have guessed it). Even the cleaning staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Of course it goes without saying the room was of the highest quality, the lounge...
