"This hotel sticks out like a sore thumb in the area, and NOT in a bad way. It is clean, classy in appearance, and that's merely the outside. The rooms are large and have ample storage space. New irons to iron clothing with, and nice hairdyers in the bathrooms. Room was spotless, the bed was insanely comfortable, and the atmosphere was just outstanding. "

"Very friendly staff. It’s an older hotel but it’s clean and comfortable. Truthfully the best bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. I needed to be near the Bay Area Hospital and this was perfectly located for that. The management, especially the GM was very accommodating and flexible with my reservation, especially during Spring Break."

"The room was clean, shower worked properly. Clean bathroom, towels were clean. A/c worked great, pool also looked cleaned but didn’t have time to go in. Parking is uncovered but it was ok. Breakfast was great!!! They have plenty of food, they keep it stocked during breakfast hours. The texas waffle was soooo amazing! This hotel is close to all major retailers and restaurants. Everything was perfect will definitely book again here."

"Like the building says, THE BEST SPOT ON THE OCEAN. The nights were peaceful, the room was cold. Its not the newest or cleanest but take a few clorox wipes and call it a day. Worth every penny. Will be back"

"For an older motel, it is directly a 1 minute walk to the beach, 5 feet from an excellent Restaurant/Coctail lounge, 1 minute walk to several other nice restaurants/coctail lounges and the US 181 Freeway is in it's front yard. Such a good value and the friendliest management. I always stay there when I travel to North Beach, Corpus Christi, Texas."
