Kid Friendly Hotels in Texarkana

"The pool was closed when we arrived but we were told it would be open that evening. About 45 mins later we were told the pool would not be available to use at all. The ice machine on our floor did not work, there were no vending machines in the hotel."

"Unbeknownst to me, the breakfast (which was mentioned on the Hotels.com website....WAS UNAVAILABLE due to "renovations." Wow. When I arrived, my bed was UNMADE. My room....was in HORRIBLE shape, with paint spattered in tub, visible ceiling patching, etc. When I arrived back late to my room, THERE WAS SOMEONE SLEEPING IN AN OUTDOOR WALKWAY ON THE CONCRETE, covered with a blanket. I'm very cheap when I travel, so I've stayed in some doozies...but THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE. Just TURRRRRIBLE. "
