"Foul weather caused our British Airlines flight to divert to the little town of Bari. We were a plane full of holiday travelers just off-loaded at 8 pm and told by BA - here is your luggage, we will leave in 12 hours, good luck finding accommodations for yourself. Using Expedia I was able to get a room at this hotel pretty quickly. Others in flight not so lucky, hotels were booking up fast as our flight was not the only unexpected aircraft to divert to Bari. "The staff is super friendly, they are very accommodating and helpful. The stay is lovely, quiet, right in the centre of old town. Downstairs in the square is an excellent restaurant - easy for family to dine out. Thank you and we would recommend this place! "

"Interesting history but really in the middle of nowhere and loud traffic nearby. Basic rooms and wifi was not working that day. No facilities. Breakfast ok. Staff helpful "

"the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....
