"The property was absolutely stunning, and the entire masseria felt like stepping into a magazine spread. The spaces were beautifully designed—the pool, which we didn't get to try out because it was still a bit chilly. The breakfast was nothing short of fantastic; you could order eggs and coffee, and they paid attention to the small details as you sat at the table. The service was truly lovely, making the experience all the more enjoyable."

"I cannot say enough about how perfect our stay was at Pianelle! Starting off with Saverio, the manager who was so helpful and kind, ensuring us that all of our needs were met. Then there is the super kind staff that also went out of their way to be friendly and efficient. Our cave room was beyond beautiful, tastefully decorated, one of the best showers we've had on this 2 week trip - everything was perfect!!"

"Everything about the hotel was very good (location, staff, room), with the exception of the breakfast. This was the 6th hotel we’ve stayed at in Puglia on this trip, and this was by far our least favorite breakfast. Limited selection of food, and the quality was well below any of our other stays"

"Not worth the money. Matera is beautiful and unique, very worthing visiting. But the hotel itself was below our expectation, with such an expensive room rate. No kettle to boil hot water, no conditioner in the bath room. The room was decorated as old time "Sassi" but rather too empty and simple. The view outside the room was nice though."

"We enjoyed everything about the hotel; friendly staff, convenient location, clean n big room except for 2 things : - the toilet is not enclosed ie it has no door. My husband and I had to take turn to leave the room when we want to use it. - the hotel did a fantastic job to notify us about options of parking. It was quite a task to drag our luggage up and down from the car park to the hotel along the cobblestone road. The hotel could have offered portal service to their guests especially for elderly guests"
