"As it is out of town - there is no easy access to the railway station at Monopoli which meant an expensive taxi ride (30 Euros) each way. "Great property in a super easy, convenient location! Walk right out the door into the square filled with cafes & shops! We paid to park in the private garage & Vito took us everyday to retrieve it & back it out of the right space. He was amazing. A good continental breakfast…but if you get there late they don’t seem to replenish once items are gone, so get there earlier than later. Front desk staff were very nice & spoke good English which was helpful of course."

"The hotel is charming. Rooms are large, comfortable, well-maintained and clean. The staff was great. We would have liked clearer advance instructions about how to arrive with a car and unload luggage. The hotel is in a very car-restricted zone. GPS tells you "You've arrived" when you are outside the restricted area. To drive close, you have to navigate through pedestrians and sidewalk cafés. Also, while the breakfast buffet was lovely, the restaurant was closed during our 3-day stay."

"The hotel had a good sized free carpark with gates .and was very near the restaurants and bars in town, so no need to move the car in the evening. The welcome was warm, the room was small but clean. "1) Walking down the path from the street to the hotel, the garbage bin area is filthy/smelly and you have to walk right past it. A small fence or something to hide it would help the impression of the hotel 2) Our room was very nice, but there was a constant sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom.
