"Property was excellent location to city centre train station. Perfect for us! Room was good. Bed was a bit harder than I’d like. Staff were excellent! Breakfast was good and coffee was great! A small fridge in room would be helpful. A great stay. Lots of dining choices within a short walk"

"Location is fantastic, right in the heart of Bristol. Room could do with some much better lighting, it was quite dingy. The bed was adequate but not super comfortable. There were some renovations happening on the floor above, accompanied by banging during the daytime. Overall not bad, but would expect it to be a little bit better value for money."

"A beautiful historic building let down by shockingly poor maintenance
I rarely leave a two-star review, especially when the hotel staff themselves were friendly, responsive and genuinely tried to help.
1. The pool and sauna were unavailable.
The pool and spa facilities are prominently featured in the hotel’s photos and were one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. I specifically wanted to spend a quiet Sunday exercising, swimming and using the sauna. None of this was available.
2. A fantastic...

"We went with one of the smaller rooms in the hotel for 1 night, let me just start off by saying, the hotel staff is so nice, main floor is great and clean, bed room was fairly clean, hallways/ elevators smelled cleaned but looked a bit dirty, definitely a good hotel for 1 person or 2 if the other person doesn't mind seeing you go to the bathroom/ smelling you go to the bathroom, our bathroom/ bedroom was seperated by a glass wall and a sliding glass door that didnt have a complete seal, so let...
