"Lovely hotel, elegant clean room. There was an excellent choice at breakfast in a spacious room. A huge bonus was Emmylou Harris and her band having breakfast together. The check in , check out, breakfast staff were really helpful even though the hotel was really busy. On the negative side, the room was a really long way from the lift and an event was going on with lots of loud music kept us awake until after midnight . Perhaps if you put the people attending the event on the 2nd floor so they aren’t in the noisy room would be helpful. Otherwise a treat to stay at the Marriott as I’ve only been there for conferences before. "

"Couple of small points that let the 5 star feel down - staff were incredible and lovely to interact with. Spa was nice - but few things broken over the 3 days was there. Car parking was just about ok with a full hotel. but overall - really nice stay - great place and location - would return if good offers to be had."
