"We stayed at Desa Potato Head and it truly exceeded every expectation. We originally booked the Sunrise Studio, but upon arrival we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Garden Suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture and set the tone for the rest of our stay. What stood out most was how warm and genuine the service was. Every staff member we encountered, from the buggy driver to the pool staff to the reception team, was consistently welcoming, friendly, and attentive. A special mention to Yogi, who assisted us throughout our stay and genuinely made us feel taken care of from the moment we checked in until we checked out. His sincerity and attentiveness really made the experience feel personal. We also truly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. Upon check-in, we were given reusable tumblers to use throughout the stay since the hotel does not use single-use plastics, and we even got to bring them home. It’s such a thoughtful and meaningful touch that reflects their values. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool and were continually delighted by the small details, from complimentary jamu shots to fresh fruit and papaya or watermelon ice cream. These gestures may seem small, but they made us feel genuinely cared for and added so much warmth to the experience. Everything about the hotel—the atmosphere, design, energy, service, sustainability mindset, and people—made this stay incredibly memorable."
