"Great breakfast - love the fried eggs and croissants, they are so fresh. Angela gave me lots of useful travel tips - on how to take buses and trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where to go for dinner and where the local market is. Also took two day trips to the Amalfi coast, all the way to Amalfi. There are some great restaurants and delis nearby, it's comforting to have some deli food and fresh veggies and fruit after a long day of sight seeing."

"The apartment is a short walk from Salerno train station and conveniently situated near multiple shops, restaurants and cafes. The cute balcony offers a nice view of the surrounding neighbourhood and patios below. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was offered daily. "The check in was only by message/instructions which I actually liked. The space is not big, but quite enough. At the entryway, there are a few tables, furniture, a small fridge with freezer, sink, microwave, toaster, etc. which was nice for me (everything clean and ok). The room itself wasn't impressive (space, bed, furniture) but it was good enough. The bathroom was particularly long so the area was big but not necessarily spacious. The shower head could be cleaned to have a better shower, but...

"We booked Hotel Montestella after we arrived at a horrible unsafe and dirty VRBO and needed an emergency place to stay for the next 4 nights. This place was a life saver for us and so clean! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and am very grateful that there was a room available. Everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to my friends and family. "It’s a very cute place to stay and I would love to be back again. Host is kind and tell us where to get about. Little kitchen to use and got kettle, fridge and little bun for breakfast. Room is clean and the shower was great. But the only let down is the lift you need to insert 20 cent coins but the machine have some faulty issue. Sometimes it works and sometimes does not.
