A beautiful, historic, intimate property in a very central location. Allegra went above & beyond to help us locate parking and assist with luggage. The rooms were updated & bed was comfortable. Despite the construction, a very special property.

Nothing more could be asked of our host Luciana and Nora, who received us on our initial arrival. The rooms and breakfast area are finished in an inspired manner and tasteful. The bed was comfortable and room spacious. As would be seen in other reviews, it is a historic palazzo, there are renovations on going in the building, but not once did this distracted from our visit. The hotel space is completely finished. What an amazing find on the waterfront promenade, our host full of suggestions for local and regional activities and meals. Bellisso!

Great hotel near Centro storico

The hotel is very accommodating and wishing that you enjoy Salerno to its fullest. It is conveniently located near Centro storico and many restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately the building is still under renovation so while you can see the sea it is hampered by the netting.

Great location with very friendly staff

This hotel was in the perfect location to explore the old town and to access Amalfi ferries. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Vittoria went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all of the information we needed to make the most of our visit. Would definitely return!

Great inside, exterior under renovation

The common areas and room are clean and beautiful. Luciana was a tremendous hostess. The ongoing work on the exterior of the building means there is scaffolding outside your window which blocks much of the view. Also, the inside of the building, before you get to the DG part, is kind of dark/weird, including the really old lift. But was totally safe, and the doorman was great.

It’s getting there

Great location! The remodel that was finish was excellent. But the building is under major renovation. Views from the room were obscured by scaffolding and netting. Room was nice, but bed was pretty hard with twin mattresses shove together.The rest of the building was pretty dirty and rat traps everywhere. When this place is finish will be pretty nice. Should be a little more transparent in the advertising and slightly less expensive.

The hotel is in a historic building and the furnishings complemented the style perfectly. It was clean and the check-in process was seamless. One of my flights was delayed an hour and they contacted me to make sure everything was alright. I was traveling by myself so I truly appreciated this. The hotel is right across the street from the sea and the boardwalk. Vittoria was incredible. She went above and beyond as I flew in from the USA because my husband had motor scooter accident and was in the local hospital in the orthopedic trauma unit. She helped me get an ambulance for my husband to move from hospital to Airbnb, locate a hospital bed and coordinate the delivery, sent me links to restaurants and local sites among other things. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Salerno!

Lovely stay in a charming town

Would stay here again, despite the construction taking place on building... as the service was wonderful and the room quite comfortable. Construction limited the beauty and charm but did not disturb us, as they worked during day when we were out exploring. Used as our home base for taking train or ferry to other cities... so easy and inexpensive to get to Vietri, Minori, Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. Our room was nothing fancy, but large and comfortable. There is a large main room for all guests to share and relax, well-appointed with couches and books. You need to take elevator lift or stairs to access, as it is not on ground level. Vittoria and Luciana and their team were OUTSTANDING! Excellent communication via What'sApp. Vittoria welcomed us personally and allowed us to store luggage. Provided us with map and lots of recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Helped us get bus tickets. They offer breakfast for a small charge and we say get it! It was all homemade and delicious... yogurts, fresh fruit, cheese, meats, fresh pastry and bread, coffee, juice and even made us scrambled eggs. Our stay was lovely!

Wonderful stay in Salerno

Donna Giulia Luxury House in Salerno is absolutely wonderful. Perfectly located in the heart of Salerno with a short walk to the old city and to the bay area. We were satisfied with our room, the genuine and warm welcome we received, also the delightful breakfast (extra €12/pp).

Excellent choice for Amalfi visit

This place was a bit difficult to locate because there is no sign. But once that was resolved, the place is great, so beautiful. Vittoria welcomed us with a coffee and helped us with everything we need regarding places to visit and links for boats to Amalfi Coast. The room was big and very clean. We were lucky to meet the owner of the building and learn the history of it and her family. Location is great, my boyfriend went out to run every morning by the beach. Restaurants and coffee places were less than a minute away. Overall I would highly recommend staying in this place.

Property is under full construction and owner is lying within stating facts it was not disclosed and then she’s lies stating will refund . Do not book this property you will never get refunded since owner does not honor her word. .

Interesting - good but not great.

The room is nice, the location is good. But the design of the door and walls seems to let noise inside. The building is under exterior refurbishing so your view is scaffolding and then the bay. The entrance to this group of suites is on the second or third floor, and thankfully we arrived when the very kind attendant was on duty, otherwise we wouldn't have found it. The entry area smells bad. The team working the "desk" are super nice, informative, and helpful, but we found this to be one of our least liked accommodations in our 18 days in Italy.

This property is misrepresented online - it is currently under construction/renovation in the front of the building with scaffolding all around. I had to enter a small backdoor, only to realize the interior lobby area is also under construction with scaffolding and dust - looked like it was bombed. I refused to stay there and the owner/property manager would not refund me even though they never disclosed the condition of the property.
