Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo

10/10 Excellent

"An old style hotel, whose location over a semi-private cove is its main advantage. Our room was spacious enough and the bathroom had the right amenities. Taking into account that sea weed are a significant part of the ecosystem we were not bothered by them so much. But the beach itself seemed unclean and full of wasps and differed completely from the pictures presented and respectively from our expectations. We chose this hotel for its nice private beach, but we had to travel long ways to better beaches. Food for dinner was of not-so-good quality and the staff serving it seemed completely inadequate. That is why we didnot repeat a meal in the hotel's restaurant. Anyway the gardens and the pool were great, but our overall satisfaction was way below our expectations and what we paid for."

"lovely hotel room and some bedrooms at the hotel are direct onto the beach...however if you dont reserve the top room package then patio sunbeds are not allowed and sunbeds on the beach are 40 euros per couple per day!!!!...lovely pool across the road at the lower room rates but only a handful of sunbeds around the pool!...and the evening dinner menu is VERY expensive! location is quite remote for eating out. nearest and only shop/supermarket is approx 1 km walk for anything needed. ..Oh and if you order take away food from outside the hotel i.e. a pizza then the hotel will charge you a surcharge!!...we liked the hotel itself but the feeling was once you have booked this...one of the most expensive hotels in this vacinity..then they charge you high prices for any other needs"

"We loved Luna Lughente! The vibe is kind of retro and the suites we had were beautiful, comfortable, and very spacious. A beautiful view of the pool and Mountains that we will never forget. The included free breakfast was great every morning and our most adored part is the beach. The section of beach Pittulongu that belongs to the hotel is fantastic and we can’t wait to go back!"
