Gabbiano Azzurro Hotel & Suites

"Great stay. Loved the beach, clear water and white sand with a chill vibe and not too deep right away. You have to pay for the beach chairs and umbrellas, which is unfortunate and can get expensive. Drink service at the beach could be more frequent. Limited parking but we it was available for all the stay. The overall area is great, lots of walking and dining options. Staff was super nice (except for the lifeguard, he was always grumpy). Drinks and food were also really tasty but a bit pricey. You pay for the convenience."

"Hotel was very well situated, clean and comfortable w/ Very good beds and shower. The staff was excellent, including reception and especially the breakfast staff. The one downside was the breakfast was not very impressive: Honey/Jams not even local to Italy, other breakfast items and variety just ok...less than what other comparable hotels offer in terms of variety and quality. If not for the breakfast, I would probably give it 5 stars."

"Clean room. Great approximateyto beach. All sun loungers are assigned in twos, I was very happy where we were but if you are after a beach lounger it’s unlikely due to the assigning. We were told we would have to wait 4 days into our weeks holiday if we wanted one so it’s a bit of pot luck if that’s what you want. We had incredibly bad luck with our air conditioning, it took 5 days before they sent maintenance to fix it at which it was never fixed even though they said it had been. We were given different fans but never offered an another room or any compensation which was disappointing. Without those issues it is a lovely space, very quiet and not much around so recommend a car to travel to other spots!"

"Hotel Castello suited me so well as a single traveler. The staff were the best part for me - so nice and accommodating. My poor Italian was not a problem when I had questions for the front desk staff. They helped me to book a boat trip to La Maddalena islands. I had a room facing the road. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels as needed. Breakfast was plentiful. Golfo Aranci town and marina is a short drive away or a 15 minute easy walk. The beach behind the hotel has very soft sand. Beautiful sunsets. I found the price to be great value for Sardinia."
