"This hotel is full of character, but the fittings, bathroom, bed are all thoroughly modern, crisp and clean. Breakfast was great, the staff weekday and weekend were very helpful. Dinner was good - the menu extensive enough to provide options for each evening they were there. Ability to park safely onsite is always welcome. The locatio is superb. I'd say top of the grade for a 3-star property. "

"Owl Barn was just beautiful - we loved the fact that the sheep wandered past the garden fence and the horses came close to be petted ! "Driving surface for access to hotel and in car park is rough and uneven. Hotel entrance and reception feels tired and in need of redecoration. Room 2 was very poor. It was very hot and only one window would open. Electrical sockets were hard to access or did not work. Furniture felt mismatched to room and oddly arranged.
