"This hotel is full of character, but the fittings, bathroom, bed are all thoroughly modern, crisp and clean. Breakfast was great, the staff weekday and weekend were very helpful. Dinner was good - the menu extensive enough to provide options for each evening they were there. Ability to park safely onsite is always welcome. The locatio is superb. I'd say top of the grade for a 3-star property. "

"Hotel reception wasn’t well signed. Rooms were clean, but corridors were quite dirty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Main restaurant wasn’t available so had to eat in a stark feeling cafe area which wasn’t so nice. The staff were very accommodating regarding allergy issues. The steak wasn’t very good. Breakfast in the restaurant area was nice. Again staff were attentive."

"Have stayed before but this time we had a two bedroom apartment. As with our previous stays, the apartment was comfortable, warm, well equipped. Yes a bit worn in places. Cooking facilities could be a little better eg. Condition of frying pan, no cooking oil but otherwise everything you could need. Facilities on site are excellent. Adventure golf was very good. The bar wasn’t individually manned, and there was no night staff on site. In our opinion, this gave the premises the impression of a B and B pretending to be an hotel .
