I was so impressed with the beautiful garden and opportunity to sit on the waterfront and watch the sun set. Terrific hosts. Loved listening to the bird life. Comfy bed. Great aura. What more could you ask for?

The wonderful service from this property began before we arrived. They contacted us with instructions about how to find the property, available facilities, best places to purchase supplies and how to check in. When we arrived we were greeted by our host who explained about local attractions, how to access the private beach and answered our questions. While we were checking in an echidna walked along the driveway. This place offers a very relaxing experience with fantastic service and local knowledge. Highly recommended!

We really like this place, it's very close to the beach, Simon is very enthusiastic, the location guidance is accurate, and parking is also convenient. The room is also very comfortable.

great place with quality fittings a cut above what you would normally get. There's only 3 rooms at this lovely quiet place where the back garden leads right down to the water and is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. we were the only people staying (it was winter) but the apartment was warm and cosy. Would definitely come back.

What a charming spot. A small but well appointed cottage on the waterfront. Excellent location for an overnight on the Tasman peninsula. Simon is a great host and the grounds are immaculate.

The unit was small but was presented very well had everything we required for a comfortable stay and extremely well priced. Simon , the host was very caring and helpful to ensure we had what we needed to be able to return to Hobart before the covid19 lockdown came into affect. Thank you so much Simon

Nicely maintained self-contained apartment. Decent facilities. The bathroom is nicely decorated. Simon is super helpful and friendly! The beach at the back is a good place to watch the sunset. Will come back again.

Little room.
Room was tiny with nowhere to sit - except outside in the patio. Also there was only one tiny sink which was in the bathroom to wash cups and collect water for the kettle. The situation was great but whoever designed the studio was not up to the task. A request for a later check out was refused even though there was nobody waiting to check in and cleaners did not arrive till much later.

Thankyou for staying with us. Not to sure why you did not book the bigger unit. The skippers is a studio unit. Larger than most studio rooms. And yes we are fully booked this time of the year and thus need to clean the rooms for the next guest who was checking in at 1pm

This was a great location for visiting Port Arthur. The house was clean with a beautiful garden and it was lovely walking down to the water behind the property.

Lovely welcome on the sign outside my door. Emails with directions and lovely personal chat as I enjoyed the gorgeous view of the waterfront. Gardens a dream -I will definitely return here!

The communication from the beginning was excellent. Upon arriving we were welcomed and felt immediately at home. the owners could not do enough for us.The unit was very good and clean with two bedrooms and plenty of room.as there were three of us. We were only a very short walk to the bay shore, so very relaxing and quiet.

Brent and his mom were a delight. Great communication through email and a warm welcome. It felt like we were old friends. The property was clean and spacious, and it even had a great waterfront view. The internet was super fast and there were a dozen little details (e.g. mints on our pillows) that made the whole thing feel cozy. I wish we'd stayed more than one night. If we're ever back in this area, we're definitely staying here.

This was a nice place to stay when visiting Tasman Peninsula. It had everything we needed, and was great for a short stay. The opportunity to sit by the bay was really nice as well. Recommended.

There is no wifi in the room which is a part of a cottage. Wifi is only available in area near the reception office cottage. It is quite inconvient at night time especially when it is raining.

Great location
The Abs was positioned in a handy location close to tourist attractions where of a night time you were able to have a quiet and comfortable rest.
