"Our stay at Koru was nothing short of exceptional. The lodge was comfortable, spotless and equipped with all amenities (even a heater and a/c). Breakfast was served at the lodge every morning, and we had a wide variety of food, all cooked and prepared to perfection. "This place offers stunning views over the landscapes below Etna. The rooms feel luxurious, clean, modern and you can tell they thought of every detail in the room. We only stayed one night which was not enough, next time we are staying way longer. This place is great if you want quiet luxury and a base to explore Catania and the many winieries around Etna. A place to take it slow and enjoy the views and the food."

"Can’t fault this hotel. Very clean, staff were lovely and the pool are was wonderful. Our room wasn’t the most modern but bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Fruit at breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Short 5/10 min stroll into Taormina town. Perfect location and the bus terminal is just out the back of the hotel which is really handy. Close to the cable car to go down to Isola Bella too. We had a wonderful day and Pizzichella beach, with cheap sunbeds!"

"This is a beautiful small hotel with amazing views and friendly staff. It is situated very close to the main town (5 to 10 minute walk). The breakfast was good, with a modest selection of fresh foods and crepes made to order. The car park isn't cheap and operates via valet service (recommended as it is on a steep hill). The lunch restaurant was great - tasty pasta and refreshing drinks. The pool was warm and well maintained. We would recommend this stay."

"The hotel was in a good , close uphill location from town (Umberto Corso) and just outside the inner city walls. Very close to shopping and all. Breakfast was delicious and the view from restaurant was gorgeous. We did have a sea view but ask for a higher floor if possible."

"The staff at this hotel are so kind and helpful! Location is wonderful, close walk to town (less than 5 min!) but still quiet and right off the main square. The pool was lovely. It is however a bit dated, we had a junior suite and although very roomy, the decor could definitely use a facelift. It felt overpriced for what you got but overall very happy with our stay."

"Nice hotel - but needed a bit of TLC and a lick of paint. It looks like a relic from the 1970s and could do with a facelift. The staff were great, really kind and helpful; they all helped with my basic Italian! The location is fantastic- close enough to walk to the action, but quiet enough to get away from the hustle and bustle if you want. Breakfast was lovely- I don’t think they opened for evening meals. But there are plenty of eateries within walking distance. A great base to explore the area."

"Everything was excellent except the concierge was awful. They never made the dinner reservations they were supposed to and gave wrong directions. Also, if you drive your own car there ask for directions to the hidden car entrance. The front of the hotel is for taxis only."
