It started with the check in then Steve took our luggage to the room the 20 ft ceilings in the room made it feel so big. Housekeeping does an excellent job room was clean bathroom enough towels, complimentary water. Breakfast was great Jordan our server had to do it all with help of the Saturday manager after 2 employees called out great job!! Check out was a breeze. Walking distance to the River and convention center. But let’s not forget the history of the building amazing.

Staff was very friendly, starting with valet service, check in, dining room servers and bartenders. Check in did follow up call upon getting to our room to make sure everything was okay. Valet only parking. Really cool historical hotel very close to fun downtown restaurants. Next door to the oldest Catholic Church on the west Florida coast. Beautiful area. Corner room was relatively spacious. Clean room. Pepsi products only available in the hotel. Near a CVS. Bed was firmer than my liking, pillows really squishy. Slept well for 1 night. Within walking distance to the Hillsborough county courthouse. Close to the Tampa River walk. Overall lovely sty.
