Not sure why this property has so many great reviews as we found it to be very sub par. The only positive was that it was only 5 minutes drive from Busch Gardens which is where we were visiting.
The property is looking extremely tired and the overall quality of the room was poor. The room clearly had not been cleaned in a while as there was dust on every surface, thick enough in some places to write your name! The air conditioning unit was huge and right next to the bed but it was also extremely LOUD! When it started up in the night it would wake us all up.
The bathroom layout was poor and again looking very tired. Water pressure in the shower was not great and the tap for the sink barely hung over the sink so water just went all round the sink.
The sofa bed was not left made up for our son to sleep on and we had to make it ourselves, not something we’ve ever encountered before. There was linen for the sofa bed in the wardrobe that consisted of one pillow and a duvet / sheet that more closely resembled a towel that had a very large hole in it. When we asked at reception for a proper duvet for the bed we were told no and given another of the very poor quality sheets.
Breakfast was ok but one morning there was hardly any food and the next morning there was plenty. Arriving half an hour before breakfast finished shouldn’t mean that no food is being put out. The eggs and potatoes were nice, as were the waffles.
We would not recommend this property and would not stay again.
