4 day stay in Taiyuan
The hotel is upscale and the location is great. There is a mall across the side street that has a supermarket in the basement, as well as some restaurants. The staff is excellent and very helpful.They will go out of their way to make you comfortable. Ivo Chen was very helpful and spoke excellent English, which was great as I do not speak any Chinese. He also arranged for extra water bottles. I ate a buffet lunch on Friday in the restaurant and they had a nice variety of dishes. Tracy was very helpful and asked me if I wanted to have steak which I did not know was available. The steak was quite thin, but decent. It was the Mid Autumn festival and Tracy sent extra moon cakes to my room. Mike was also helpful, along with the other front desk staff.

I loved everything! The hotel is outstanding! Staff were helpful at all times even into the late evening. Food was always top class and the size of the room was very big. I had a delightful time!

The check in was ok, no help with luggage and staff not welcoming. I only stay here because it is clean and the price is decent. They say the hotel is non-smoking, but cigarette smell came into our room everyday and caused us to keep coughing. When complained to the night duty manager, he said “yes, it’s non-smoking, but Chinese people don’t pay attention” He simply implied that he would not go and check who was smoking....this is so unacceptable. They really need better hospitality training!!

A bit confusing to find, as it’s in a residential community. But this hotel is very clean and quiet. The lobby and rooms are nice and modern. The executive lounge was very nice. Staff are friendly. Quiet gem in a noisy city

One of the better places in Taiyuan
The rooms are nice. The place is clean and up to date. I was dissatisfied with the drinks and food. The hotel bars are all closed by midnight and no spirits in the mini bar. Breakfast needs work - there was no one else waiting for an omelette and I still waited 20 minutes.

A wonderful tay
We stayed here for four night, and it was very pleasant. The facility was great, simply elegant, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I would definitely be staying here again when I am in Taiyaun, or if they have other locations worldwide.

The room and hotel were beautiful. The staff was eager to help. We decided to book this hotel for a staycation and were especially excited to use the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintenance for most of our visit. The hotel staff knew it was going to be closed and failed to tell us at check-in. When we inquired mid-way through our stay about staying another night so we could have more time at the pool, the front desk staff was not willing to budge on price or even include breakfast for the extra night. During the small amount of time we were able to use the pool, we were told that we must use swim caps in the pool. This rule was not posted anywhere. I offered to buy swim caps to use and was told they did not have any for sale. If this is going to be a rule of the hotel, they need to make swim caps available to buy. The room service and restaurant food was decent but not especially good. At one point we ordered a pizza which had no seafood listed in its ingredients on the menu. When the pizza came out forty minutes later, it was covered in shrimp and scallops. I am allergic to shrimp so we had to wait another 30 minutes for them to remake the pizza. Again, the employees are kind and helpful, but the hotel has a long way to go to meet typical Pullman standards.

The reception staff was very friendly and gave us the rooms exactly what we requested for. It was an efficient checking in without any problem. We only found the Chinese restaurant service a bit slow and the food was only average. Overall we enjoyed staying at the hotel which we felt was very comfortable and luxurious for the price we paid for. Definitely worth going back again.

A MUST STAY in Taiyuan, STAY WAY fm Chinese Rest't
Spotless in terms of rooms and service they render. The product is new, very well done and functional and great housekeeping. Great finishing as well as great Gym and pool with direct day light. On the 1 night stay, we had 2 meals with good food in the all-day dining restaurant. Chef from Hubei provided great culinary, service and communication. We had 1 meal in the Chinese restaurant and this as the only part disappointing in this hotel. Menu items does not match with what was provided. Two bowls of Congees that had no ingredients in it, it is just water/soup cooked with rice (zero on anything else). Plain fried green vegetables had a few piece of fish fins in it - a bit gross.

Excellent stay at this brand new facility
While a bit far from downtown, the hotel is excellent in all aspects, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Several spoke reasonably good English so communication was not a challenge. The only suggestion I have for the hotel is to expand the room-service menu.

酒店座落太原東北角一小區,距離市中心頗遠。 鄰近 local 商場內有 supermarket ,Starbucks 等,不過早上開 8:30,附近也沒有很多早餐選擇。 Pullman 品牌既酒店沒有令人失望, clean with comfortable bed. We had good stay there.

有保持铂尔曼的水准。房间舒适,浴室宽敞,提供的寝具非常舒服,早餐选择蛮多的。虽然地理位置距离市区较远,但靠近高速,交通还算方便。

Hôtel environnement trop bruyant
L'hôtel étant situé sur une avenue à très grande circulation de jour comme de nuit crée un environnement très bruyant. En effet toute la nuit il y a des camions qui circulent de façon très bruyante au point de perturber le sommeil. De plus il y a également un terrain de sport en face l'hôtel où les animations sportives sont cadencés avec une sono qui crée également une grande gêne sonore. Celà est bien dommage car hormis le bruit l'hôtel est à tous les niveaux excellent que ce soit au niveau du personnel, des services ou infrastructure et confort. Je pense qu'il est nécessaire d'améliorer de façon très importante l'isolation des fenêtre afin de diminuer très significativement les nuisances sonores. Je précise que le bruit extérieur est la seule raison pour laquelle je ne recommanderais pas l'hôtel Pullman à in proche. Alain Scognamiglio
