Received a friendly welcome from the young man who met me. Bedding was not clean - hairs and crumbs on the sheets and an itchy feeling while sleeping. The bed was also squeaky. A clean bathroom, decent shower and close proximity to an MRT were the plus to this accomodation

The room has a smell, feel dirty and noisy. We stayed for 4 nights that only has room house keeping at the 3rd day. The toilet get stuck during the 2nd day.

Good budget Apartment (not hotel)
The room was nice but it's not a hotel. HOTELS.COM sends to a hostel address (different owner) who tells you to wait while they call the appartments' manager who comes to pick you up, so the feeling is no that great until you get explained how it works. It was a room in a residency building in Xintaipei. Room and facilities were good. Just need to mention that floor was not really clean and the water heater spends a burnt smell after five minutes using it. Need to be changed. I am really doubtful if Oversleep Taipei has a proper license or selling its service by sleeptaipei hostel, just to keep in mind if a misfortune happens. Anyway, good option to cut budget while visiting Taipei.

Awful stay. Great country
Hotel no clean no quiet area I spent a nightmare night in this hotel room the weather was great so hot but to no possible to use the air condition. Old system to much noisy and if you want to use I'm sure you get seek in same day. Very very old

Nightmare stay !
It was a nightmare for us to stay in the house apartment. No customer service counter at all, only mobile contact then pick up room key in front of 7-11 shop. The room condition was very dirty and can not sleep during the night time. I don't think it is eligible way to run a business like that in Taiwan. It totally destroy the tourism reputation of Taiwan. I will never booked this apartment again.

Superb location
It was a trip for mum to seek medical treatment. The room was big and the location is superb, accessible to all public transport - save lot of cab fare as mum can't walked far.

Nice hotel of the branch
Normally is good, near the metro station. Easy to find the location of hotel Many shops around the hotel. But the cleaness need to be improved. And if you forgot to close the window, many mosquito!

Great service and value for money!
Great services! Although no front desk to greet us at arrival, the person in charge is very kind and thoughtful after knowing that we travelling with a baby. He took the efforts to offer us for a better room with washer, extra blanket, bottle water. We truly appreciated his kindness and the service level he had presented. Do not expect a hotel cleanliness level for this home-stay apartment and you will be fine. Overall it's a pleasure stay for us and we will definitely like to stay here again for future visit.

Overall pleasant experience. Domestic residence, get to experience living like a local. Wide room, 2 bedder with clean sheets, towels washing machine (no powder), sink, hair dryer 2 day interval room service: top up 2 bottles of mineral water, toothpaste and toilet paper and clear the trash make the bed. No cleaning of floor 10minutes walk to nearby transit. About 20minutes to town centre by transit. Mcdonalds, street and neighbourhood stalls (plenty of amenities just downstairs) and Carrefour hypermart if you walk further Negative Refrigerator was really noisy, can't sleep without wearing earphones at night Lots of hair on the floor when i checked in Water can accumulate in puddles on the floor after shower, if i don't clear them, I can see fly larvaes crawling about Can be noisy as it's next to the road, I had the benefit of staying in a building further away from the main road on the 3F My last day of stay, strangely mosquitoes began to appear, i killed 5 since dusk till dawn and couldn't sleep There are windows but they are shaded, hard to tell day from night Overall it's worth every penny, will definitely be back if i have the chance

Nice, Big, Clean and Confortable
We love the room so much, it is not for from the MRT station. The room is very big and very clean. The internet is also well-provided. We checked in early than time stated in the policy, the room was welled prepared and they allowed us to check in. One thing that I would ask for if I stay in this room again is the mirror for dressing up as there is only a small mirror in the bathroom. :)

Convenient location close to metro
Good for budget travelers like us, stayed for 10 nights. Room isn't that clean, constant traffic noise at night, however plenty of eateries and walking distance to metro station.

Pay a bit more at one of the nearby hotels instead
First of all, it is annoying to have to call them to meet you when you are traveling and don't have a phone since this is not a normal hotel with a front desk but some apartment rooms that are rented out nightly. I had two different rooms since I switched due to the first room being old, worn down, not so clean and the bathroom smelling. Despite switching, the second room was also old, worn down and not so clean but at least the bathroom didn't smell. However, it did have mold around the edges of the shower, the toilet would hardly flush, and multiple things were damaged or broken. In the room, the bed seemed clean enough, so I didn't feel to bad about sleeping and the general floor area was cleaned. However, in the nooks and crannies, under the bedside table and around other furniture there was a lot of dust, dirt and hair that seemed to have not been cleaned for a while. The standard of cleanliness here is not very high and they seem to just clean the man spots and not everywhere. Also, your room doesn't get cleaned or tidied every day so you have to be more careful. Granted it is cheap and you get what you pay for but I would highly recommend paying a little more for one of the nearby hotels like Lion or Jade and get a lot more comfort and higher standards of cleanliness.

Basic Room
They have several rooms in different building, the one I get is: - Around 7mins walk from MRT - Basic simple room with comfort bed but the environment quite old - There is fridge but dirty - There is washing machine but is along the end of the corridor as this room does not hv balcony - 1 min walk to 7-11, 3 mins to small night market, 15mins walk to bigger night market - Few MRT stations away from City Centre Overall, can get better homestay with this price

Hidden, but u need to contact them
Close to the MRT train, but very hidden. You had to contact them as we could not locate the reception. Hidden behind 7-11 store, security guard assited us to the office. The apartment located in another building. With heavy security door, the room was spacious with washing machine and dryer. No kitchen but comfortable beds. Wifi was good. No customer service to ask questions or contact them AH if any issues.

The apartment is nice in general. Nice neighborhood and easy to subway and other places. House service is nice. Got the help and information Quick once you ask. However, the apartment we stayed is too simple and condition was not as we expected from the ad. In Another Word, the price we paid is higher than it should be.

An affordable apartment at very good location.
The room was not cleaned when we checked in and entered the room. Tips to future occupant: when you ring up the hotel number, please ask if the room is cleaned before you enter the room. The room would have been very satisfactory if not for the first impression of uncleaned room. The service was good. Almost all our requests were promptly met. Location is near to Nanya night market and Fuzhong MRT station. Excellent location for the price.

I had booked and paid for three rooms back in January, but when we arrived in May, a staff said that all rooms were booked so some of us had to stay in a different building than the others. The rooms were in an ok condition, except that the air conditioner in a room stopped working at the last night. Since there was no front desk, it was hard to reach the staff. Well, you get what you pay.

average room but great with washing facilities
No reception counter to offer advice on getting around, not convenient even though we can call the staff from 11am to 11pm. Room service is only available on alternate day. 3 of us also prefer the room with the couch, it is more spacious even with a washing machine and a dryer. No floor mat to clean our feet after bath. The luggage storage needs a small fee though. But the bed is comfortable for a good night sleep.

very havy smoke smell in the room(we did ask for non smoke room when we booked on web),the shower glass was dirty and wet, few hairs over the floor,the paper cups was used when we checked in on the first day... the floor is in a commercail building, so the noise comtinused after minight. location is very close to the train station.

OK, first time to Taipei,... Check in is difficult for AM. no front desk and no answer to phone prior to 11am, my email via iphone was not possible..until i found a hotspot. Beds good, room OK, in older semi upscale apartment complex. Internet not working in some rooms. Good location for food, and local night shops and MRT a few minutes walk away. I liked my stay, and staff was friendly, but am check in problems require luggage storage at different business and room move for internet.

Nice apartment at strategic location
(Pro) Simple and yet spacious apartment just opposite FuZhong MRT station, convenient with affordable price and all basic facilities such as TV, internet, fridge, washing machine. hair dryer, sofa etc. (Con) Room service are minimum. Room service provided every 2 days when requested. Not so convenient when first time reaching the apartment, need to call person in charge to meet at nearby 7-11 (be aware to wait at correct 7-11 as mentioned, there are too many 7-11 nearby this apartment, at least got three shops nearby). Their staffs seems like not well trained, not organized, need to pay extra fee (NTD80/day for small luggage, considered affordable) to store luggage.

you have to be fluent in chinese because hotel stuff dosent speak any English and you have to have phone number in Taipei to call hotel stuff to check in. it was little difficult to check in. hotel was far from city center and not easy to find.

Overall okay
First, this is not a regular hotel (I know the name of the property is apartment but still...). Other reviewers did not mention this clearly but basically you are staying at one of the rooms in a huge apartment near Fuzhong MRT station. There is no physical office and you have to call the number when you arrive at the city. I thought the physical property was located at the address mentioned in Hotels.com website - I was wrong. After 30 minutes of wandering, a nice building patrol officer called the staff for us and a friendly staff (without English skill though) led us to an apartment room. The room itself is nice. It is spacious and equipped with everything that regular hotels offer. HOWEVER, they forgot to give us towels (so we bought our own) and neighbors next door burned incense for several hours, which aggravated my allergy. Despite of all cons, staying at Oversleep House was overall okay. If you have cellular plan in Taiwan and speaks Chinese, it will be an cozy and inexpensive place to stay in Taipei.

travel is not only about how grand is the hotel, how big is that. but more importart, the feeling of having a safe place to stay with yr family. we stay for 6 night, it gave me a homelike feeling, 5mins walk to mtr, 10 to 15 min walk to night market. need to call the owner to pick us, a bit confused at the first time coz the mobile got problem, but we contacted him successfully n he come up within 5 min. the addresss is wrong, it is a building actually,2 days will hv a room cleaning service. i will say the price is reasonable. it gave me a wonderful memory.

I wont recommend this motel.
Overall very disappointed. I gave me a strong impression that the place is not properly approved by the authority and is under poor management. The bath room sewage system is very poor and causing unbearable stench. And room cleaning service only provided every two days. The mattresses spring are too hard and not comfortable to sleep on.

Convenient Location!
- 10 minute walk to MRT and very close to night market - finding the hotel was a little troublesome so I would recommend to get a map of the city at the airport with two languages (one in your mother language, and the other one in the local language) so when you get stuck/lost it is easier to converse with a local. also ask for the hotel's Chinese address. - it was great that there was a washing machine. I would advise future patrons to bring laundry detergent. - if I come back to Taipei I would definitely come back to this apartment

Enjoyed the stay.
I been staying for 7 nights, 10 mins walk to MRT. Hotel service was not convenient due to not having a lobby, and we have to use own phone to call them, no phone provide in the room. They never think that we are from other country and using our phones will cost a lot. Overall is a convenient place only
