Beautiful hotel. Just didn’t like how keys don’t let you on different floors where your friends are staying so had to go downstairs to meet to go to their rooms

Hotel is beautiful and clean. Staff are all very attentive and helpful. Breakfast selection is nice but most of the food was cold. It’s very close to the Miramar mall but far from other tourist places, such as Xinyi and the other night markets. Would take awhile to get to on train, so we ended up taking taxis during our 3 night stay.

Great staff, vey convenient for a quick business trip. Automatically received my Hotels.com Gold upgrade without having to ask. Requested assistance with ground transportation was prompt and courteous.

Pleasant surprise that’s near the Taipei Ferris wheel and we had an excellent view from our room. Staff were friendly including housekeeping staff. New and well furnished.. clean and cosy.

Was happy last time, Unhappy this time!
We stayed here from last day of 2019 to early 2020 , we enjoyed a lot, so we were back to this hotel again in the end of March, 2021, When we booked. It is included breakfast for 3 people and free internet. However, the staff said we had to pay for internet and only allowed two people to have breakfast. They way they handled their mistakes were very bad. No one said sorry to me. They showed me that they were doing me a favor as they didn’t charge me after showing them the confirmation e-mail twice. I was getting what I was supposed to get. How could you show me that you were doing me a favor.

The hotel is conveniently located: near Jiananlu train station (10 minutes' walk). It's regrettable that we didn't have enough time to explore all its facilities (gym etc) with which the hotel appears to be well equipped. We stayed in two adjoining rooms which were spacious, but we wondered if the room's soundproof could be further improved: we sometimes heard people running on the floor above us. One suggestion: free wi-fi inside the room please.

The hotel room is great but the cleaning staff needs to do a better job. The shower gel inside the bath room was not replenished, trash in the bath room was not cleared. We had 3 people but only 2 clean towels were placed in one of the days. During checkout, the staff did not ask for feedback either.

Very nice pool on top floor w great lights from nearby structures, a little out of the way to popular spots but quieter naturally. Front desk staff can be friendlier, but probably dealing w stress out travellers all day!

The amenities of the hotel were good. However, we had a terrible experience at its Kitchen Garden where we were treated without respect. Our stay at the hotel did not include daily breakfast, but we thought we would try their breakfast on the first morning. Two different captains in charge questioned us twice regarding the payment for our breakfast making my husband and I feel like we were trying to skim the hotel off of a breakfast. They should have merely charge the fee for the breakfast to our room, but instead we felt humiliated. The captains there were used to servicing a large group of tourists, for example from China, but they were not used to servicing individual customers like us from the U.S.A. I would NOT go back to that restaurant again!

The worst Marriott hotel I ever stayed
The check in receptionist should improve her English since this is an international brand hotel. You can’t expect your guests could spesk Chinese. The hotel room is noisy , should improve the sound insulation system.
