This is obviously an upscale property which, architecturally borders on over-design and at times, a defined decor. Nonetheless, it is opulent and the rooms were well laid out, and in contrast to the lobby, tasteful. Our only beef was with restaurant staff who consistently demonstrated a lack of training with respect to monitoring the needs of their clientele. Water glasses were not refilled, offers to replenish wine were non-existent and once food was served we were abandoned.

This is a beautiful property with large rooms, great amenities, and great service. It is not centrally located to a lot of sights but that was not a problem since taxi’s are plentiful and inexpensive.

The hotel room is clean, comfortable and quiet. I stay at this hotel for more than 10 times. It's different than the chain hotel in the US. I believe Grand Mayfull is the best choice for Taipei.

The property, the room amenities, the staff's welcome and assistance, are all top-notch. Feels like luxury at its best. The Executive king room was very spacious. Decor was very soothing and tasteful. Amenities in the room had everything to make the stay very comfortable. The staff at the door, front desk and the house-keeping are always ready to assist in the making the stay as comfortable as possible. The area around the hotel was quiet and upscale. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed staying at Grand Mayfull. The breakfast was awesome and the room very spacious and clean. The only con is the location. There are buses and a bit further a MTR. Overall the location is quiet and peaceful.

We had a horrible stay because of the loud drilling and heavy equipment construction noise that woke us up before 8 am every morning. Gave me a headache everyday. It is a very nice property and the staff and service are top notch but we did not get a good rest at this property. The construction next door is new and will take at least a couple more years to finish. I will stay away from this property for a while.
